Arduino ProX ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application ("App") handles user information.

1. Information We Collect

Arduino ProX does not directly collect any personal data.

• USB / Hardware Access:
  The app uses Android’s USB host capability to communicate with external microcontroller boards such as Arduino and ESP devices. This access is required only for uploading code and reading serial data. All communication happens locally on the user’s device, and no data is collected, stored, or transmitted by the app.
• File Access (Storage Access Framework – SAF):
  The app uses Android’s Storage Access Framework (SAF) to allow users to open, create, and save Arduino sketch files (.ino). Users manually select files or folders, and the app can access only the locations explicitly granted by the user.
• No Location Access:
  The app does not request, access, track, or store your location data.
• No Sensitive Data:
  We do not collect photos, videos, contacts, messages, personal documents, or any other sensitive personal information.
• Local Processing Only:
  All compiling, uploading, and serial communication is performed locally on your device. Arduino ProX does not upload or sync any user data to external servers.

2. How We Use Information

• USB access is used only to communicate with connected microcontroller hardware.
• File access is used only to read, create, and save Arduino project files (.ino).
• The app does not analyze, store, or sell any user data.
• Arduino ProX itself does not use personal information for analytics or tracking.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Arduino ProX displays advertisements using Google AdMob.

• Google AdMob may collect non-personal information such as Advertising ID, device information, approximate location (country/region), and ad interaction data.
• This data is collected by Google in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.
• Arduino ProX does not have access to or control over advertising data collected by Google.
• Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on user settings and regional regulations.

4. Data Security

Arduino ProX is designed to work primarily offline. All user files remain on the device, and we do not operate any backend servers or cloud storage.

5. Children’s Privacy

• Arduino ProX is not specifically directed towards children under the age of 13.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Third-Party Components

The app uses embedded Arduino toolchain components (such as avr-gcc and avrdude) for compiling and uploading sketches. These components run entirely on the device and do not collect or transmit personal data.
